The 1850 Room started with a dream of creating something special in downtown Grand Rapids—a place where people could come together, feel welcome and make memories.
I wanted to create a space that felt elevated but comfortable, beautiful but approachable, and versatile enough to be part of everyday life.
A place for morning coffee, Small bites and conversations.
A place for business meetings and new ideas.
A place to celebrate milestones with the people who matter most.
A place to meet friends after work, relax and simply enjoy the moment.
The 1850 Room has been a labor of love from the very beginning. Every decision, every detail and every step have been made with the hope of creating a space that people will feel proud to call one of their favorite places downtown.
My hope is that when you walk through our doors, you don’t just see a beautiful room.
You feel like you belong here.
